Taravella, president and chairman of Coral Ridge Properties, a subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Corporation, said, “We consider the Galt Ocean Mile the crowning achievement of our twenty-two years of development in Fort Lauderdale, which includes the city’s finest residential, hotel, and business areas.” Our modern, twenty-story, oceanfront, high-rise affords spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and Fort Lauderdale’s “Gold Coast.” The building houses an elegant lobby, an updated gathering area called the Rendezvous Room, a state-of-the-art exercise studio, a beautifully appointed game room, a heated pool surrounded by a beachfront patio, and a barbecue pérgola with its own beachfront seating area and breathtaking views. The facility has 24-hour security personnel and is monitored by multiple closed-circuit video cameras that record 24 hours each day and viewed by the security team in real time. The full-time maintenance staff keeps the premises maintained and beautiful. Regency Tower is one of the most “hurricane-resistant” hi-rise, condominiums in the Galt Ocean Mile neighborhood. As found in all new coastal construction, all glazed window and door openings in the entire building have been retrofitted with impact-rated windows and doors.
