We are committed as well to adult education through Sunday morning Bible studies and other book studies on some Sunday evenings. Our people are involved in many volunteer activities as service to the needs of the church, the community, and to the world at large. The First United Church of Arvada is led by the Rev. Karin Kilpatric and our Director of Ministries Rev. Jean Bareis. It is an open and affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ, where “God is still speaking,” and a diverse, caring community of people doing our best to follow Christ’s command, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
