Diese zu 100% artgerechte Haltung und die vorwiegende Fütterung mit Weidegras von den eigenen Flächen wirkt sich positiv auf die Gesundheit der Tiere und somit auf die Fleischqualität aus. 2021 wurde Elbweiderind deshalb vom Freistaat Sachsen für „Tiergerechte und umweltverträgliche Haltung“ ausgezeichnet. Aber nicht nur Fleisch gehört zum Elbweidrind-Sortiment, sondern auch viele weitere gesunde Lebensmittel von befreundeten Landwirten und Bertrieben aus der Region rings um Nordsachsen - darunter Kartoffeln aus Mügeln, Bio-Eier aus Wildenhain, Käse und Butter aus Bennewitz oder Sächsischer Weißfisch aus Wermsdorf/Torgau.
