Erron Adams

Before turning to writing full time Erron worked across a spectrum of jobs ranging from farm work to software engineering to starting and running a bookstore. A restless spirit in childhood led him to the secluded cache of occult books in the local library, which in turn kicked off a lifelong interest in the supernatural and psychology. Erron's concern is the search for meaning in the midst of suffering, and he writes dark fantasy and speculative fiction to that end.My teenage years (and most of what I can remember preceding them) were typical enough: emotionally turbulent, often bruising, commonly boring. But somewhere during that era of the Great Sulk I discovered poetry and became entranced by the way well-struck words worked magic in the mind. Much better than drugs, although I certainly gave those a bash for a while. Oh well… It was around this time I made efforts to understand my place in the universe. I haunted bookstores and local libraries, seeking those semi-banned books about the occult tucked away in obscure back shelves. Being hard to find only increased their mystery and appeal. Age may have dimmed some things, but never my interest in spirituality and our existence as soul. I began by writing poetry and branched into dark fantasy with an emphasis on psychological and metaphysical exploration.Why do I write? It’s all about death and the fervent hope-driven search for any meaning that may transcend that event. I write to find the way Home.
