Meta Description
Photographer Brian Bignell walked amongst giants of the music industry in the 1960s armed only with his Rolleiflex 12 exposure camera, he captured a time where music was real, where music was in its infancy compared to todays technology, and when some of the greatest legends and music were about to be born. Now years later, and unseen for nearly 40 years but magnificently preserved, his photographic collection celebrates and clearly demonstrates the art of excellent black and white photography. This website features over 95 images of the best artists of the 1960s, including great shots of The Beatles, The Kinks, The Who and The Rolling Stones. American artists too are represented, Del Shannon, Jimi Hendrix, Wilson Pickett, Scott Walker and the Walker Brothers. Other artists from this golden era include Adam Faith, The Animals, The Moody Blues, Tom Jones, Cliff Richard, Jimi Hendrix, Dusty Springfield, The Hollies, Brian Poole and The Tremeloes, The Searchers, The Small Faces, Hermans Hermits, Dave Dee, Georgie Fame, The Yardbirds and many more...
