本會成立於民國八十六年十一月十五日，迄今已歷十八年，此期間歷經李漢鼎先生、呂欣維先生、顏阿傳先生暨蔡金葉小姐等六屆理事長的全力奉獻與辛苦經營，從原有20家創會會員公司發展到目前64家會員公司及6家贊助會員公司，從成立之初的兩手空空慘淡經營到目前擁有完整的辦公設備及基金，這都是各屆理事長、全體理、監事暨所有會員公司的大力支持與贊助方有今日的成果，當然主管機關長官們的指導更是功不可沒。 本會為提昇本業專業形象與社會地位，於民國八十八年起即爭取並接受內政部營建署委託辦理公寓大廈管理服務人之事務、設備、防火避難等三項證照的委任辦班權，除自力招生開班外，又與行政院退除役官兵輔導委員會、高雄市、台南市、屏東縣榮民服務處合作辦理總幹事訓練班及前述三項證照班委訓任務，迄今總計培養的專業人才已超過八千人，為南部地區公寓大廈管理維護奠定良好紮實的基礎，目前本會除持續辦理前述委訓班隊之召訓外，內政部也已委託本會辦理換證回訓講習專業課程，提昇本業證照制的專業水準。另與本會事業主管機關高雄市政府工務局協辦「高雄市公寓大廈管理委員會暨住戶座談會」、「管理組織報備」及「宜居團」等活動，提昇高雄市在公寓大廈管理領域的活力，解決住戶疑難雜症，使高雄市民均能住的安全、住的尊嚴、住的快樂，爾後將繼續協辦，期盼主管機關暨全體會員能秉持以往，繼續給本會鼓勵、支持。
