The Mikvah Project - Home

The Mikvah Project is a touring exhibit of photographs and interviews documenting the resurgence of the Jewish rite of immersion in a ritual bath. The practice is over three thousand years old. Photographer Janice Rubin and Writer Leah Lax explore the voices and images of Jewish women who speak of the role mikvah plays in their lives.
