十字軒的糕餅師傅，在這兒一待就是幾十個年頭，有的還是從10多歲就來工作的「囝仔工」。對十字軒、對傳統糕餅，他們情感很深。古意的糕仔桃，十字軒至今還是堅持以手工製作立體雕花，不像其他店家，早已用毛筆繪製花紋取代，糕模子一打開，雕花一旦有瑕疵，整個就得重來。而每次店裡辦起推廣活動，師傅們義不容辭示範教學，壽桃、鹹光餅，2樓空間擠滿了大小朋友，學得人好奇，教得人開心！
